The Taunton Rifle and Pistol Club was incorporated on September 30, 1935; "For the purposes of encouraging and promoting athletic contests, more particular those having to do with the use of firearms of every sort and in general to engage and promote athletic contests of all kinds."

In support of this mission, the club strives to:

• Provide a safe, clean environment in which members can enjoy the shooting sports.

• Align our club’s operation with the best practices sponsored by local and national organizations such as the National Rifle Association and GOAL.
